There is a need for lacrosse goalie coaching.
You can see it. All over the county there is a glaring need for qualified lacrosse goalie training. The goalie is one of the most important players on a lacrosse team, yet they are often the most under-coached position on the field.
In the old days, the only place a goalie could receive topnotch training was is they went to an expensive speciality camp or found an over priced private coach. This was just not cutting it. There are stories all the time about people who paid a boat load of money to go to elite speciality camps looking to gain an edge. What they find is that they are quickly relegated to a number and told to stand in line. On top of this, there is no way to capture the training and bring it home. It basically becomes a one time investment. Private coaches are expensive and hard to locate in many parts of the country.
We’re here to help you by changing the rules to the game.
When I graduated from high school, my long time goalie coach told me:
“Make sure you give back to the game.”
My brother Chris and I started Mind the Crease with one purpose in mind:
Level the playing field and give lacrosse goalies from all corners of the world access to affordable topnotch lacrosse goalie training on their terms.
Together Chris and I bring almost 20 combined years of on field experience and years of coaching goalies of all skill levels. These experiences paired with a passion for helping lacrosse goalies advance in all areas of the game.
In college I was a four year starter for the Grove City College Wolverines. During my time in Grove City I was named a four time All Conference player, two time captain, and two time MCLA All American. While in college I helped lead our team to three straight playoff appearances and our school’s first appearance at the MCLA National Tournament.
Chris was a two time All Conference player, team and conference MVP, 1st team All-District, and a US Lacrosse First Team All American goalie in high school. He is now the starter for Grove City College, where he was the teams MVP last season.
